Located slightly off the beaten track in District 14, first impressions of this salon are that it could do with a bit of a makeover. It’s a bit cramped and in need of some TLC.

The massage cubicles are small, and the massage takes place on a mattress (although there may be other options, as you can choose your room when booking).

My masseuse was Wawa, who speaks some English, and I opted for an oil massage. Personally, I prefer a light, relaxing massage rather than a full-on traditional Thai one, and Wawa certainly delivered—I left feeling totally rejuvenated. While the massage itself was good, Wawa’s communication skills might need a bit of work (although it’s possible I misunderstood what she was saying).

Overall, I’d give Wawa a 4 out of 5 for the massage, and the salon maybe a 2.5.
