I've been invited to submit a free listing, what's the catch?

Yes, it's free, and there's no catch. We don't charge listing fees, we make our income through advertising and sponsored results.

We've choosen not to charge for listings for 2 reasons:

• Having a directory of only paid for listings, is unfair on visitors. We want a directory that people can trust and rely on. Not a directory of paid links.
• Charging for listings is also unfair on providers. You don't know us - why would you pay for something that you can't be sure will work for you!

Why is the site only in English?

Because our visitors are mostly expats and tourists who don't speak Hungarian — English is the one language most of them share. That's who we built the site for.

That said, if you speak other languages, list them on your profile. Clients search and filter by language, and a Polish-speaking client will pick a provider who lists Polish over one who doesn't, every time. It's one of the easiest ways to stand out.

How do you verify providers? Do I need to send ID?

We do basic verification — enough to weed out obvious fakes and duplicate listings — but we don't ask for ID scans or anything invasive. Trustworthy is the goal, not bureaucratic. If something on a profile looks off (stolen photos, a phone number tied to five other listings), we'll follow up before it goes live.

Do you take a cut of bookings?

No. Clients contact you directly — by phone, WhatsApp, whatever you list — and whatever you agree on is between you and them. We're not in the middle of that transaction and we don't want to be. The site makes money from optional upgrades, not commissions.

Can I remove my listing later?

Anytime. Send a message or use the account dashboard and it comes down. No waiting period, no "are you sure" runaround, no charge. If you're taking a break or moving cities, you can also just pause it instead of deleting everything from scratch.

Who can see my listing — is it public to anyone who searches?

Yes, it's public — that's the point of a directory. But you control what's on it. Use a professional name instead of your real one if you prefer, choose which photos go up, and leave out any contact details you don't want visible. You decide where the line is.

What if I get a booking request that feels off, or a client is difficult?

That's between you and the client — we're not a booking platform and can't monitor conversations. But if someone's using the site itself to harass providers, send us a screenshot and we'll remove them. A directory only works long-term if providers feel safe using it.

Will my profile show up on Google?

Individual profile pages generally do get indexed, since that's what drives visitors to the site in the first place — search traffic is most of how clients find you. If you'd rather not be searchable by name, use a stage name and skip anything identifying in your bio or photos.

How do I get more views on my listing?

Fill out the profile completely — languages, services, location, availability. Half-finished profiles get buried below complete ones in search results, and clients tend to scroll past anything that looks unfinished. Beyond that, the featured placements are the paid option if you want a guaranteed boost, but a complete free listing already puts you ahead of most of the directory.

Can I list if I'm not based in Budapest?

Yes. We cover all of Hungary and not just Budapest — list whichever city or region you actually work in. If you cover multiple cities or travel for outcalls, say so on your profile; clients search by location first.

Do I need to renew my listing, or does it expire?

It stays live as long as you're active — no renewal fees, no expiry countdown. If a listing goes quiet for a long stretch with no updates, we may reach out to check it's still current, mainly so clients aren't contacting providers who've stopped working. But you won't lose your spot just for time passing.

Is there a limit on how many services or languages I can list?

No hard limit. List what you actually offer and speak — the more accurate and specific, the better it filters for you. A long list of vague services helps no one; a short, honest one gets you clients who already know what they're booking.

I'm running a special offer, can you help promote it?

Yes, drop us a line (Support Desk) with your offer details and we can mark your listings as having 'Offers Available'. Everybody loves a deal and special offers are a great way to build new business or fill your off-peak slots.
